Nanaji hails from kummarilova village in Tuni, East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. He completed his graduation and post graduation from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Puttaparthi. Later he joined as Junior Research Fellow at ARCI, Hyderabad and registered for Ph.D in the Department of Chemistry in the year 2014 under the guidance of Prof. U.V. Varadaraju. His research focuses on Design and Development of efficient electrode materials for supercapacitor and Li-ion battery applications from lab scale to pilot plant scale.

Research Interests

  • Synthesis and Characterization of efficient electrode materials for energy storage systems such as supercapacitors, Li-ion capacitors and Li-ion batteries.
  • Tuning the morphology of porous carbon materials by various synthetic approaches suitable for supercapacitor applications.
  • Fabrication of Li-ion battery and Supercapacitor devices and electrochemical analysis.
  • Materials for visible light photocatalysis.
