BIOGRAPHY

Dillip Kumar Chand is a Professor in the department of chemistry. He was born on 11th September, 1970. Before joining IIT Madras, Chand worked as Research Associate at the University of Tokyo, Japan (2003). He has spent several years as post-doctoral research fellow at the University of Tokyo in Japan. Chand also Previously served as a Humboldt Fellow at Universitaet des Saarlandes, Germany (2000). He got his PhD degree in chemistry from IIT Kanpur, India (1998). He completed his MSc degree at Sambalpur University, India (1992). He joined IIT Madras, India as a faculty in March 2003.
