SANTU SADHUKHAN

Biography

I am from Howrah, Howrah is an important transportation hub of West Bengal and a major gateway for the city of joy (Kolkata). I have completed B.Sc degree in Chemistry (Honors) from University of Calcutta, West Bengal, in 2014. I have then joined the IIT Madras for M.Sc degree in Department of Chemistry. In 2016, I have upgraded my M.Sc program to dual degree M.Sc-Ph.D program under the guidance of Dr. Beeraiah Baire. Besides that, I am spending extra time to listen some song.

Research Interests

  • Area of research is dihalogenation reaction of propargylic acetate and I was involved to investigate its unconventional reactivity. In addition, I like to play with water in organic reaction.
