Biography

I am interested in the application of nanomaterials for water purification. It involves synthesis optimization of nanocomposites and their performance testing as scalable adsorbents for water, contaminated with arsenic and fluoride. I am also working in the area of sensors for water quality monitoring. It involves luminescence-based or colorimetric detection of trace level water contaminants using nanomaterials. Sustainability metrics evaluation for nanomaterial synthesis is also a part of my research.
