Nanaji hails from kummarilova village in Tuni, East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. He completed his graduation and post graduation from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Puttaparthi. Later he joined as Junior Research Fellow at ARCI, Hyderabad and registered for Ph.D in the Department of Chemistry in the year 2014 under the guidance of Prof. U.V. Varadaraju. His research focuses on Design and Development of efficient electrode materials for supercapacitor and Li-ion battery applications from lab scale to pilot plant scale.
