I did my Masters in Chemistry from School of Chemical Sciences, M G university , Kottayam , Kerala. Further, I completed PhD from Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay on the topic Biophysical studies on Protein Ligand binding. I joined Dr Ramesh's Group in June 2017 as a Postdoctoral fellow .

Area of research: developing biocompatible Ionic liquids for extraction of biomolecules and studying their interactions with protein systems for targeted drug delivery process.

I am from Chittoor (Dist) in Andhra Pradesh (A.P). I did my schooling at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Chittoor. I completed my B.Sc (Hons) in chemistry from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Deemed University, in Anantapur (Dist) A.P and M.Sc from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupathi, A.P. I have joined in Dr. Ramesh Gardas’ research group in July 2014 for Ph.D. Apart from my studies, I enjoy reading fiction and painting. I like spending my time to strengthen my teaching and presentation skills.

Areas of research: Ionic Liquids, their synthesis, thermo physical properties, and the application of ionic liquids based aqueous biphasic systems in extraction of bio molecules.

Dasthaiah Keshapolla

I am Dasthaiah Keshapolla, Completed my under graduation from Nizam College, Osmania University, Hyderabad and M.Sc. in Chemistry from Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai. During my masters, I did one year project under the supervision of Dr. Ramesh Gardas, Department of chemistry, IIT Madras. Then in the same group i have joined as a research scholar.

Area of research work: Separation of Trivalent Actinides and Lanthanides from aqueous waste using Ionic Liquid anchored resin.

Rabinarayan Patra

I am from a small beautiful town of odisha, blessed with natural scenery, Rayagada. I obtained my bachelors degree from Rayagaa autonomous college, Rayagada, Odisha. Accomplished Masters in general chemistry from university of Hyderabad. In recent times , I have been working as a PhD scholar under the supervision of Dr. Ramesh L. Gardas.

Research interest: Computational chemistry aided designing of Ionic liquids and their application in desulfurization and denitrogenation of simulated fuels.
