SUMITAVA MALLIK

Biography

Sumitava Mallik was born and brought up in West Bengal. He did his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Kharagpur College under the Vidyasagar University in 2012. He obtained M.Sc. degree in chemistry at Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG), India in 2014. In July 2015, he joined our department for PhD program under the supervision of Dr. Mahiuddin Baidya. His research interest includes the development of new concept for organocatalysis, dearomatization reactions and nitrosochemistry. His hobbies are playing cricket and listening music.
