I was born in 24th July 1992 in Hind motor, in Hooghly district in West Bengal, India. I joined the Department of Chemistry, IIT Madras in July 2017, a Ph.D. student under the guidance of Dr. Mahiuddin Baidya. My research interests focus around Transition metal catalyzed C-H activation reactions and it’s applications in Total Synthesis of Natural Products. Outside Chemistry, I am extremely passionate about Politics, Football (East Bengal) and Cricket (M.S. Dhoni). I have also tried my hands in poetry and writing short stories and published a few works.
