DR. NARAYANAN, A.

Born in Salem, Tamil Nadu on 15-03-1964. Studied  plus two in Sri Ramakrishna Mission Higher Secondary School (Main), T.Nagar, Chennai. Completed B. Sc (Chemistry) degree in 1984 at A. M. Jain college, Meenambakkam, Chennai.  Obtained M. Sc (Chemistry) at Annamalai University, Annamalai Nagar, Chidambaram.  Completed Ph.D degree in chemistry from IIT (Madras) in 2018 under the Guidance of Prof. R. Dhamodharan.  Joined Chemistry Department, IIT Madras in 1989 as Technical Assistant and currently working as Senior Technical Officer (SS).  Incharge of Thermogravimetric Anlalyzer (TA Instruments Q500 Hi-Res TGA), Differential Scanning Calorimeter (TA Instruments Q200 MDSC), Porosimeter (Micromeritics ASAP 2020), Chemisorption Unit (Micromeritics Chemisorb 2750).  Sharing the responsibility of conducting UG Lab course for B. Tech for the last 20 years.
