- Divya has completed her graduation from Mar Athanasius College, Kothamangalam, Mahatma Gandhi University Kottayam (2018). She completed her post-graduation from Sree Sankara College, Kalady, Mahatma Gandhi University Kottayam (2020). She joined IIT Madras as a research scholar under CSIR-JRF category in Chand research group in July 2022.

The Department of Chemistry is one of the first Departments to function after the Indian Institute of Technology Madras was founded in 1959
