Biography

Deepika Janakiraman obtained her Ph. D from the Department of Inorganic and Physical Chemistry under the supervision of Prof. K. L. Sebastian. Subsequently, she was a Simons Career Development Fellow at the Simons Centre, NCBS, Bangalore. Her research focus is on modeling anomalous diffusion using theoretical methods.

Research Interests

  • Non-equilibrium statistical mechanics, path integrals, theoretical chemistry

Honors and Recognitions

  • DST-INSPIRE Faculty Award, July 2016 Session.
  • Simons Career Development Fellowship awarded by the Simons Centre, National Centre of Biological Sciences for 2015-16.
  • Rank Certificate and Silver Medal awarded by Stella Maris College (SMC), Chennai in 2006.
