PAPRI CHAKRABORTY

Biography

I am from a small town, Kanchrapara, located in the North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. I completed my schooling there and then joined Jadavpur University for graduate studies and moved to Kolkata. I completed my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree with a specialization in Physical Chemistry from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. After my postgraduation, I joined in the Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology Madras, as a Ph.D. student, under the supervision of Prof. T. Pradeep. I am currently working in materials chemistry and mass spectrometry. Apart from research, I thoroughly enjoy traveling, listening to music and reading novels.
