About Edamanna Prasad

Dr.Edamana Prasad currently working as the Head of Teaching Learning Centre, where a group faculty from various science and engineering department of IIT Madras has been actively participating to organize various activities for improving the teaching learning process in higher education sector.

The core team has submitted a proposal to MHRD for augmenting the activities of the centre. The project, amounting to 4.5 crores, has been recently sanctioned. One of the objectives of the proposal is to develop domain based curriculum development in a TPACK model (technology pedagogy and content knowledge).I worked as a mentor for sessions which deal with writing learning outcomes for the courses, developing various strategies for active learning, and developing rubric based assessment plans.

I have been awarded Young Faculty Recognition Award (YFRA) from IIT Madras in the year 2012, which is a prestigious award given to faculty who excel both in teaching and research.
