DR. ANBARASAN, P.

Biography

Anbarasan obtained Ph. D on the enantioselective total synthesis of natural product from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore with Prof. Kavirayani R. Prasad, in 2007. Subsequently, he held post – doctoral position at Leibniz Institute for Catalysis, Germany as Alexander von Humboldt fellow with Prof. Matthias Beller and the University of California, Berkeley, the USA with Prof. Dean Toste. He joined the Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) in Dec – 2011, where he is currently Associate Professor.

  • 2004 - Masters in chemistry from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai
  • 2002 - Bachelors in Chemistry from Periyar Arts College, Cuddalore
